August 17, 2020–Wisconsin Association of Treatment Court Professionals has opened registration for a series of highly anticipated courses for treatment court professionals from throughout the state. The courses mirror many of the topics that were slated to be offered during the in-person WATCP Statewide Conference in May, and will now instead be offered online at no cost to membership.

WATCP President J.C. Moore announced plans for the webinar series in July. “[Members] can’t wait another year before receiving training, especially given the rapidly changing environment that COVID is forcing us to operate in. To that end, WATCP will be offering a series of webinars covering many of the same topics that would have been offered at the 2020 conference and more.”

Completion of each course individually comes with continuing education credit for social workers, attorneys, judges, and law enforcement.

The series begins in September with 3-4 webinars each month through January, by which time WATCP will be assessing plans for the 2021 Statewide Conference.

WATCP is still actively soliciting sponsors for individuals sessions. To learn more, contact Jodi at [email protected].
